Our Story

For over four decades, The Westfield Food Pantry has been a lifeline for individuals and families in need across Union County, NJ. Founded on the belief that no one should go hungry, we work tirelessly to provide healthy food, essential supplies, and caring support to anyone experiencing hardship. Together with our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and local partners, we continue to strengthen our community by ensuring every neighbor has access to the resources they need.

A Legacy of Compassion Since 1980

Established in 1980 by a group of dedicated volunteers and local faith organizations, The Westfield Food Pantry began with a simple mission to make sure no one in our community has to go hungry. From humble beginnings, we have grown to serve hundreds of families each month through the generosity of donors, partners, and volunteers.

Our History

The Westfield Food Pantry is an equal-opportunity provider and has been proudly serving the community since 1980. The pantry and its services have grown tremendously from its early days. We now serve hundreds of families and individuals a month, all of whom are referred by social service agencies, churches, and community groups in Union County, NJ.

Our Mission

We are a charitable 501(c)(3) food collection center and no-cost distribution center for food and related aid. Our goal is to serve as many of our neighbors within Union County, NJ as possible.
